What type of game is Osiris: New Dawn?
Osiris: New Dawn is a single player and multiplayer survival game set in the near future. There are touches of RPG, such as character classes and skill trees, and also touches of horror, such as harsh environments and brutal indigeonous creatures. It's an uncomprimising game where you will need to fight for survival.
Is there a story mode?
At this stage the game has some light missions to start you off, and you have the choice of fulfilling these missions or not. There is a full story written and single player mode will be recieving these elements.
Is there multiplayer modes in the game?
The game has Public and Private servers in both PVP and PVE modes. Public servers are free and each player gets one Private server for free. We are exploring the feesibility of renting servers to players who want more options.
Will I be able to rent a server?
Osiris: New Dawn connects over peer to peer cloud and does not use dedicated hosted servers. Therefore renting dedicated servers is impossible. However, Osiris: New Dawn includes the Private Universe mode which gives you all the controls you would ever want, and is completely free.
Will the game be coming to consoles?
We are happy to say that the project is currently being ported to consoles and is already running on the hardware. Future dates and info on this will be announced when we have more information.
When will the game leave Early Access?
We are in our final push to reaching full commercial release, which entails adding content and features tested in the Beta Branch along with adding the story elements to single player and filling out the multiplayer modes.

Help! I lost my spaceship and I'm stuck in space. What should I do?
We're looking into what may cause these rare occaisions, but in the meantime you can simply warp down to the surface using console commands. Here's step by step instructions here.
